Shipping and Delivery

Dear customer, your order is valuable to us. We would like you to understand and appreciate how much we care for your orders. Please go through the disclaimers and stay informed.


Shipping and Delivery

Flowers may be delivered in fully bloomed, semi-bloomed, or bud stages.

All orders made in a day are delivered the next day before 6:00 pm, Monday - Sunday, (GMT+3).

Currently, Belo Gifts delivers within all 10 sub-cities (districts) of Addis Ababa, Bishoftu, Adama, Hawassa, Bahir-Dar, and Dessie, Ethiopia.

You acknowledge that the requested delivery time is non-binding. Estimated delivery time depends on the availability of the product and the destination to which you want the product to be delivered. Delivery may take longer due to:

  • Bad weather
  • Political disruptions
  • Other unforeseen circumstances

In such cases, we will proactively reach out to you. Please check your e-mails and SMS regularly for updates.

Before major occasions/holidays, we suggest that you place your order at least five days in advance.

For perishable items like cakes and flowers, we attempt delivery of your order only once. In the event the delivery is not executed during the attempt, you shall still be charged for the order and no re-delivery will be possible.

We will consider the order executed in the below cases:

  • Wrong shipping/delivery address.
  • The recipient is not available.
  • Premises locked.
  • The recipient refused to accept the delivery.

In case the recipient is not available, he/she can inform the delivery person to deliver the order to the gate/reception/neighbor.

Proof of delivery will be provided in case of any dispute in delivery.

Deliveries are made on Sundays and Public Holidays for products that are delivered by hand.

If there is no one available at the shipping addresses to accept the delivery of your order at the time of delivery, the order will not be considered late. Hence, no refunds, cancellations, or liability can be made in such cases.

We will surely try our best as mentioned below: -

  • Call the recipient to schedule an appropriate delivery time.
  • Leave the ordered product in a covered, secure area of the home (porch, garage, or other entrance)
  • Leave the ordered product with a neighbor and place a message on the recipient's door with the information.

Fix Time Deliveries

We cannot commit to the exact time for delivery. Subject to the other terms of the Shipping Disclaimer, the order will be delivered within +60 or -60 minutes as per to selected time.


Belo Gifts retains the right to refuse any order unconditionally.


Return and Refund Policy

We have a no-return policy but if you are unsatisfied with the service, we will strive to satisfy your needs. 

1. Any cancellations to the order shall be made before 12 hours of the actual time of delivery to claim a refund of the paid amount. No refund shall be made once the 12hr delivery window starts. Ordered products cancellation is not possible if the product is dispatched.
2. Cancellation of order shall be made with an e-mail with the Subject: "Cancellation Request" and sent to support@belogifts.comE-mail shall contain the following details: -

  • Order ID:
  • Cancellation Reason:
  • Refund Account Details:

3. Cancellation shall be initiated after a formal order cancellation request is received at support@belogifts.com 

4. Refund shall be made under the following conditions:

  • The order was canceled 12 hours before the delivery date.
  • The order was not delivered to the recipient. (This does not include the case of unfounded recipient)
  • If there is any complaint regarding the quality of the product being delivered, we will inquire about the same and if it is found to be true, the customer will get a full refund or the product will be replaced.

5. A refund can only be requested in case of service failure; our team will evaluate if an order qualifies for a refund and the decision of our management will be final. The refund amount in no circumstances can exceed the amount paid by the customer, we are not liable for any loss or claim beyond the amount paid by the customer.
6. In case of any Cancellation, a 5% charge will be applicable.   

7. Any discounted or exempted amount cannot be claimed for a refund.  

8. Any extra amount credited to BeloGifts’s account may be considered for order enhancement but will not be refundable.  

9. In all matters concerning Cancellation and refund BeloGifts shall have the deciding hand.  

10. BeloGifts may amend its Cancellation and Refund Policy from time to time. If we make any substantial changes in the way we use your personal information we will announce it on the website.
